Testing Period


The CrossFit Games Open is all but a distant memory.   We've taken a few weeks to recover with some volume building, partner workouts, general aerobic work, and some structural balance pieces.  

Over the next two weeks, we will go through a testing period.  Based on the results we will set some priorities for the upcoming training period to start following Golden Week.

Make sure you are logging your results each day using WodUP!  This will help make sure we get a more accurate assessment of the strengths and weaknesses…

CrossFit Level 1 Seminar


The Level 1 Certificate Course is an introduction to CrossFit's methodology and foundational movements. The course includes classroom instruction on these topics, as well as hands-on small-group training for the movements. These group sessions are conducted under low intensity with a focus on improving mechanics.

Students’ movements are observed and corrected, and they engage in dialogue concerning effective coaching techniques.

Spring 5k Run


Meeting time will be 9 am at the palace on the map marked below.

Family and Friends are welcome to join.  

We will have a group warm-up together then head out on the run by 9:20. 

A coach will stay at the starting/finish point if you have bags and phones that you don't want to run with.  There are also bathrooms and a water fountain there.

Tips for 17.5


We are finally here. The last week of the 2017 CrossFit Games. As expected, 17.5 is Thrusters and Double-unders.

First, Congratulations to everyone that has participated in the Open and made it this far. You dedicated a lot of time and have put in a lot of hard work over the last 5 weeks.

17.5 is a couplet. 10 rounds for time of 9 Thrusters and 35 Double-unders. There is a 40min time cap.  Check the CrossFit Games Website for the full workout details.

Tokyo Weightlifting Competition
