CrossFit Level 1 Seminar


The Level 1 Certificate Course is an introduction to CrossFit's methodology and foundational movements. The course includes classroom instruction on these topics, as well as hands-on small-group training for the movements. These group sessions are conducted under low intensity with a focus on improving mechanics.

Students’ movements are observed and corrected, and they engage in dialogue concerning effective coaching techniques.

Golden Week Holiday


The Golden Week holiday this year will run from Monday, 29 April - Monday, 06 May.  During this time the Chikara will have Open Gym from 9 am - 3 pm Monday - Friday and 8 am - 12 am on Saturday,

Level Method


What is the Level Method?

The Level Method provides clear, tangible metrics to track the development of your fitness. It does this by using a collection of 15 assessments that cover a broad range of physical skills. These assessments are broken down into a series of 23 levels laid out across the MAP (Method for Athletic Progression).

The Level Method MAP provides a visualization on how you rank on each individual assessment, as well as your overall level (color) based on the aggregate of all 15 assessments. This is similar to the belt system from martial arts.
