We offer three tailored pathways to join our group classes, each designed to match your current fitness level and background. Whether you're an absolute beginner or an experienced athlete transitioning from another gym, we're committed to setting you up for success.

Foundations

Foundations is an introductory course for new members that teaches the simplest movements they need to know to begin training in group classes at Chikara.

Fundamentals

CrossFit Fundamentals course is for someone that has extensive experience in fitness.  Has done the primary barbell lifts like Deadlift, Squat and Press.    Feels comfortable running a 5k. And has good body awareness and technique. 

We will teach you the movements used in CrossFit classes like the Clean, Snatch and Jerk.   As well as introduce you to the most common workout styles. 

Quickstart

The Quickstart is for someone with CrossFit experience and has been training consistently.   We’ll get you set up in our coaching systems, and do some Level Method Assessments.   We’ll also introduce you to the gym equipment and locations.
